The FS Series of force sensors from Honeywell Sensing and Control provide precise reliable force sensing performance in a compact package at a cost-effective price. These sensors – where force can be sensed through a hose clamp or disposable monitoring device in the tubing, without any direct contact with the medium being infused – are perfectly suited for medical infusion pump applications. Infusion pumps have long been delivering fluids and medications to patients and the potential uses of these devices grow as they become more compact. These smaller and more affordable pumps offer improved accuracy and functionality.

The FS Series feature a proven sensing technology that uses a specialized piezoresistive micromachined silicon sensing element. The low power, unamplified, uncompensated Wheatstone bridge circuit design provides inherently stable mV outputs over the force range.
