5-wire multi-zoned touch screens are appropriate for complex operations involving multiple controls that must be simultaneously regulated, such as industrial, medical or entertainment applications.
A standard touch screen accepts one input at a time. Attempts to touch several screen areas at once cancels out each touch by calculating an average to determine a single input location.
The multi-zone 5-wire touch screen by GM Nameplate allows for up to four input zones on a single touch screen, and all four touches may occur simultaneously leading to four distinct inputs.
