We are pleased to announce the upgraded GP170-280DB and GP300-360EB models. These new upgraded models feature a larger Cummins Tier III emissions-compliant Diesel engine, a new cooling system and a new counterweight, plus several additional enhancements.

The new engine is the Cummins 6.7 Liter, QSB6.7 industrial turbocharged Diesel with intercooler. It has a HP rating of 155 hp and meets or exceeds the US government Tier III emission standards. The new engine features advanced electronics for better engine management, sculpted block for increased engine rigidity & reduced destructive engine harmonics, rear gear train for reduced engine noise, and a High-Pressure Common-Rail fuel system for improved fuel economy & decreased emissions.

A new Quad-Cooler radiator contains four separate cooling cores for the engine, transmission, hydraulics, and charge air cooler. The addition of a cooling core for the hydraulic oil greatly improves oil longevity and component life in demanding high cycle applications. The radiator features high-efficiency triangular wave, louvered fins at ten per square inch for reduced plugging from airborne containments. The radiator now cools the oil for the optional wet brakes eliminating the frame-mounted auxiliary fan.

The redesigned, fabricated counterweight has a new streamlined, low-profile look that eliminates cooling air routing through the counterweight. The incoming or exhausting (pusher fan option) air will enter or exit at the top of the rear deck. The counterweight is a single fabricated piece, eliminating the need for additional counterweight 'slabs.' With this new counterweight, in conjunction with repositioning the air conditioning unit (optional) and muffler and a lower profile air intake pre-cleaner, rear visibility is greatly improved.

Improvements in intake air filtration, air conditioner efficiency, the electrical system and engine/transmission access have also been implemented.
