The Gecko™ now comes with the same formed steel channel understructure as our popular Gator Deck™! The tangential load cell orientation allows for rotary movement in the platform, resulting in reduced load cell stress and increased accuracy.
By manufacturing the same chassis for both the Gator Deck™ and Gecko™, the increased volume allows us to offer the superior Gator Deck™ chassis on all Gecko™ floors scales while maintaining the same entry level Gecko™ pricing. This change allows Gator Deck™ ramps, pit frames, bumper guards, and anchor plate options to be used with the Gecko™!
While the Gecko™ load cells are NTEP certifi ed and IP67 rated, they do not have FM approval. The Gecko™ does have top access internal summing, however it is board only. Please review our Gator Deck™ or Pro-Weigh® if these features are required.
