The controller is available as a card-level product or packaged in a metal enclosure with power supply.
The DMC-14x5 features Ethernet connectivity which allows easy, high-speed, long distance communications between any number of computer hardware devices located on a LAN, such as I/O modules, MMI interfaces, PCs, PLCs and vision systems. The DMC-14x5 can handle the most demanding applications with such features as program memory with multitasking, and uncommitted I/O. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, jogging, linear and circular interpolation, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. Programming the DMC-14x5 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users and a C-Programmers Tool Kit. The DMC-1425 also includes 2 uncommitted analog inputs, 3 uncommitted digital inputs and 3 uncommitted digital outputs. The 1425 comes standard with the ability to control two servo motors, yet it can be configured to output two stepper motor signals upon request.
