Honeywell Analytics now offers the two foremost technologies available for detecting virtually every toxic and flammable gas and chemical used in semiconductor manufacturing: classic colorimetry Chemcassette (integral to its MDA Scientific products) and infrared spectrometry (integral to its MST ACM 100).

Both detection technologies offer uniquely advantageous safety features. MDA Scientific, which includes the company's flagship Vertex, Single Point Monitor and CM4 products, provides real time monitoring of highly toxic gases—in many cases, down to parts per billion (ppb). The MST ACM 100, on the other hand, can detect over 500 toxic and flammable gases, organic and inorganic chemicals—with no cross-interference or concern for false positive readings.

Honeywell Analytics MDA Scientific products utilize the exclusive Chemcassette® detection technology, a dry, colorimetric, paper-based technique which provides physical evidence of the presence of a target gas, as well as gas concentration level and other event data.

The ACM 100 uses versatile, proven Fourier Transform Infrared technology to detect up to 15 gases or volatile chemicals at each point at the same time, with analysis of up to 4 points simultaneously for increased speed. The ACM 100 uses the unique infrared fingerprint of each gas for identification free of cross interference. This technology can also help identify unknown chemicals or odors. Detection of new gases can be added at any time.
