General Carbide has been supplying quality heading die blanks to the fastener market for 40 years. Quality preforms or semi-finished nibs are manufactured upon your request in a new manufacturing cell, dedicated to quick turnaround business. We offer grades of carbide ranging in cobalt binder from 3% to 30%. General Carbide also offers a stocking program where we will manufacture parts and hold them on the shelf up to three months to meet your release schedules. Eleven grades of tungsten carbide are available with tantalum carbide additives for applications where galling may be an issue. Quick delivery is available on our standard grades from 13% to 25% cobalt.
