MAGNAPLATE TNS coatings solve the "sticky substance" problems encountered so often in all segments of the adhesive industry - adhesive formulating, label printing, tape manufacturing, and converting. These high tech coatings are custom designed to act as a release system for all types of metal parts, which come in contact with adhesives. TNS coatings stop residue buildup and prevent pressure-sensitive tapes from adhering to rollers or other parts. They eliminate cleaning delays and downtime that plague you, and help you meet critical production schedules.
The TNS series of surface enhancements was developed to extend the non-stick capabilities of two existing Magnaplate coatings, PLASMADIZE® - The Next Generation in Thermal Spray Technology, and NEDOX®, a super-hard, dry-lubricated coating for ferrous metals and aluminum. The decision on whether a NEDOX-based TNS or a PLASMADIZE-based TNS coating is recommended depends upon the specific application, substrate metal, and operating conditions. Specific TNS coatings are also FDA compliant. TNS versions of PLASMADIZE and NEDOX also offer resistance to wear and corrosion, and greatly improve the performance of metal parts.
MAGNAPLATE TNS is highly recommended for use in all applications where waterbased, solvent-based and hot-melt glue and/or adhesives are present.
