Jumbo Size Heating Mantles

For batch operations using Larger Spherical Vessels the Glas-Col TM design has several advantages:

· Support of the vessel over as much of the bottom surfaces as possible, to eliminate mechanical stress.

· No hot spots which could cause thermal strains.

· Flexible supporting surface, not rigid at any point. (a hard surface would cause breakage in case of "bumping").

· Reduced bumping

· Zoned heat input

· Snug fit

· Minimum fire hazard

· Secure grounding

· 400C process temperature

Optional features include: Individual switch and pilot light for each circuit which allows control and monitoring of the unit. Gas purge connection allows pressurizing for maximum safety and prevents damage from hazardous vapors
