Named the Ferris Wheel machine because the components to be ground are carried on arbors mounted on a flat steel plate which is connected to a stepper motor that places the parts in contact with the shaped grinding wheel producing components concentric to their inside diameter. Naturally, the components to be processed must have a hole in the middle of them.
Typically, components such as small rubber rollers, pre-fired ceramic spark plugs are produced on this machine.
