Hawkeye Blue Borescopes

The Hawkeye Blue Rigid Borescopes combine the value of the Hawkeye line with a wider variety of available options. They contain high quality, German made optics with built in prism objectives to deliver superb image quality for deviated direction of view scopes. Hawkeye Blues meet the specialized visual inspection needs requiring advanced capabilities and performance.

Available now in addition to the traditional Hawkeye® line, the new Hawkeye Blue borescopes combine the value of Hawkeye borescopes with a wider variety of available options. The scopes contain high-quality, German-made optics and feature built in prisms that deliver superb image quality. Blue meets specialized visual inspection needs requiring advanced capabilities and performance.

All of the Hawkeye Blue rigid scopes allow easy rotation of the direction of view by a full 360 degrees in order to thoroughly scan and inspect machined parts. The scopes are available in diameters ranging from 1 to 8 mm and lengths up to 28 inches.

Blue Rigids accept the super bright Luxxor Light sources and Light Guides and have a removable handle allowing acceptance of the portable Hawkeye Nova light.

Hawkeye® MicroSlim Borescope

At 73 thousandths of an inch in diameter, the MicroSlim is the "slimmest" in the Hawkeye line. This is a completely new Hawkeye utilizing our next-generation endoGRINS® lens relays. Due to the very low dispersion images from the MicroSlim are bigger and brighter at a lower cost, than comparable diameter scopes on the market. This scope is invaluable to manufacturers of fuel injectors, hydraulics & pneumatics and miniature valve manifolds.

All micro-borescopes are very delicate and must be treated more carefully than larger diameter scopes. Kits include a shipping sheath for use when transporting or storing.

All Hawkeye MicroSlim borescopes have a 0° direction-of-view and 32° field-of-view. A rotating 90° direction-of-view is achieved by sliding a MicroSlim Mirror Tube onto the scope.

Hawkeye Blue Flex

Flexible articulating borescopes are key products in the new Hawkeye Blue line. These instruments are ideal for specialized applications such as inspection of castings, bent tubes, turbine blades, engine blocks and turbochargers.

These scopes serve specialized users in transportation equipment industries including automotive and diesel engine maintenance and manufacturing.

Hawkeye Precision Flexible Borescope The Hawkeye Flexible borescopes contain a glass-fiber imaging bundle with 18,000 fibers delivering high-resolution images. That's over twice the resolution of most competitors flexible borescopes! Acid leaching of the bundle increases image contrast by creating space between the fibers to prevent light from spilling from one to the other. The plastic-coated, metal "gooseneck" sheath can take a "set" before insertion into a cavity. The Hawkeye Flexible borescope is simpler, brighter, and less expensive than articulated fiberscopes. The 90° Mirror Tip adapts to the Hawkeye Flexible borescope to convert the direction-of-view from 0° to 90°. The mirror adapter threads on and therefore is quite secure. The Hawkeye Flexible Kit contains a Hawkeye Flexible borescope, with 0° direction-of-view, a 90° Mirror Tip, a Hawkeye Nova Light with Xenon lamp, a NiCd battery and charger and a rugged, lockable, aluminum case. They also offer articulated flexible borescopes in lengths from 27" to 70"
