Hushcut® II milling cutters are ideal where horsepower limitations or harmonic vibrations are a concern. An advanced chipform design on the ADGT/APHT screw-on style insert combined with free-cutting pocket geometries results in longer insert life and improved surface finishes.
Greenleaf specialty milling cutters feature a screw-on insert design to allow easy insert indexing and maximum chip clearance. Applications include center cutting, 45° chamfer cutting and ball-nose end milling.
Excelerator® milling cutters are specifically designed for advanced cutting tool materials, such as Greenleaf's WG-300® whisker-reinforced ceramic. Outstanding productivity gains are realized in heat-resistant aerospace alloys and materials hardened beyond 45 Rc. Powermill® II milling cutters are ideal for heavy-duty milling applications. With a depth-of-cut capability of up to 1.06" (27mm), this time-tested design features fully protected insert pockets for ease of maintenance and maximum cutter life.
High-Shear, 45° lead milling cutters offer excellent surface finish and metal removal rates in materials such as aluminum, high-temp alloys, stainless steel or low-carbon steel.
Slotting cutters are available in two designs. The rugged Powerslot® cutter, available for slot widths up to 1.093" (27,8mm), features adjustable cutting width and the proven "balanced mass" insert design for maximum metal removal. Greenleaf's narrow-width slotting cutters are available for slot widths from .250" (6,35mm) to .375" (9,53mm).
