Product Announcement from Griffin Pump & Equipment, Inc.
Wick Wellpoints are installed in the subsurface, a process called Wick Wellpoint development must occur to ensure proper hydraulic connection with the aquifer. During the installation of Wick Wellpoint regardless if it's via jetting or with hollow-stem auger drilling (which uses no drilling fluids), clays from adjacent strata can be smeared along the borehole walls during drilling or jet casing. A fine layer of clay smeared along the Wickpoint wicking material will decrease the permeability of that region and alter the hydraulic response of the Wick Wellpoint
Vari-Use piping system is used in operation with the poly-wickpoints giving this dewatering system access to tight work environments.
