H.A. Guden's Slip Joint and Weld-On hinges provide two different choices for removable door and lid applications. Guden supplies slip joint hinges to manufacturers of products such as cabinets, control boxes, and computer housings, so their doors can be removed and replaced without tools. Weld-On hinges offer a more precise fit along with a slim leafless design for an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Slip Joints allow instant, simple access to a cabinet interior. They are stocked in over a dozen different sizes—from 1-1/2" to 3" long and 1-7/16" to 3" open width—with either blank leaves or standard hole patterns. Guden also offers slip hinges in custom runs with options for unique hole patterns, special hinge sizes and finishes, and swaged leaves.

Weld-On hinges are an excellent alternative to continuous, butt or slip hinges, especially in tight-fitting situations, where traditional hinges would be cumbersome. They work in many applications, from cab enclosures to cabinets, toolboxes and safety containers. With no leaves—or fasteners to remove—they are also ideal for safes and security gates, where extra protection is needed. Weld-On hinges are offered in 12 stock sizes, with options for a fixed pin, fixed pin with grease fitting, or removable pin.
