The Digiflex Com is a TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer), which works as well on secondary cables as on primary or communication cables. It is a great tool for locating secondary cable faults on live or deenergized cables, and corroded neutral on primary cables. With two inputs the Digiflex Com offers Comparison or Differential Modes between two input channels. Looking at a bad phase and comparing it to a good reference phase is a very effective way for cable fault locating.
Fault locating is made easier by special features like Averaging Mode for clearer traces on a noisy cable and the Intermittent Fault Mode. Adjustable Distance Depending Gain allows to see far away events as clearly as nearby ones. The very high resolution in conjunction with a high dynamic range make it a precise instrument. The convenient and big display offers ranges from 15 feet to 90,000 feet and shows zoomed and full range traces on a split screen for better distinction.
Ease of operation and high performance are the main attributes of the Digiflex Com.
