Open Architecture

The use of the return air wall, return air risers in the opposite corners, and three HEPA filters placed above the worktable will create an ISO 5 work station environment. This compounding area eliminates the use of LAFW hoods and is preferred by the nations top pharmacists.

Notice the three HEPA filters directly above the worktable. The three lights in front of the filters act as the line of demarcation. Notice how the wall is raised off the floor. This creates the return air riser that re-circulates the compounding zone. A corner return air riser is placed on the opposite wall of the worktable. If you were to place your hand below this riser,one would feel the pull of the air being re-circulated.

This design creates a truly aseptic environment that technicians appreciate working with.
