New Compact UV-VIS S2D2 Fiber Light Source
Bridgewater, New Jersey – January 22, 2008 – Hamamatsu Corporation has introduced the L10671, a new compact UV-VIS fiber light source with an S2D2 (Stable and Small Deuterium) lamp.
The compact L10671 uses an S2D2 lamp and Tungsten lamp. It offers high radiant power and high stability with a fluctuation of 0.004% peak-to-peak (equivalent to 2 x 10-5 A.U.). It also features an external control and shutter function, and it operates on low voltage. The small size (72 mm x 40 mm x 90 mm) and light weight (200 g) of the L10671 make it ideal to use in portable devices which require a UV-VIS light source. Intended applications include spectrophotometry, environmental and biological measurements, absorption spectrum measurement, pharmaceutical testing, HPLC, semiconductor inspection, and others.
