REVOLUTIONARY FAST CURING SILICONE FOR DEEP POTTING AND SEALING

Henkel introduces the revolutionary next generation of Loctite® Nuva-Sil® silicone technology. These one-part silicones cure tack free in seconds to a depth of two inches upon exposure to UV or high-power visible light.

Loctite^® Nuva-Sil^® silicones are ideal for deep potting, encapsulation, environmental protection, and sealing. Patented next generation Loctite® Nuva-Sil^® products offer superior weather, temperature, and moisture resistance.  Translucent in appearance, the silicones will not degrade or yellow on long-term exposure to light.  All three next generation silicones offer a built-in fluorescence detection system that allows quick, easy, automatic quality inspection.  Complete cure requires only low cost, highly safe visible light cure equipment or UV cure systems.  Loctite^® Nuva-Sil^® silicones also feature a secondary room temperature moisture cure mechanism for adhesive in shadowed areas.  
 
Next generation products include: Loctite^® 5031™ Nuva-Sil^®, a self-leveling liquid that flows easily under parts for potting, encapsulation and sealing applications; Loctite^® 5039™ Nuva-Sil^®, a semi leveling paste that is ideal for gasketing and sealing, forming an excellent bead with minimal knit lines or seams; and Loctite^®5033™ Nuva-Sil^®, a thixotropic paste for gasketing, sealing and potting applications that require a full-bodied material.
