New Hitachi Inverters Feature Ethernet Connectivity. The Hitachi SJ-EN Ethernet option board provides the SJ300 and L300P families of AC inverters with a high-performance, easy-to-use Ethernet interface. The board installs in one of the inverter's two internal option board expansion slots, and connects to the user's network by means of a standard RJ45 connector.
The SJ-EN implements the widely-accepted MODBUS/TCP protocol for maximum versatility. It incorporates six LEDs to monitor board status and activity, and an 8-position DIP-switch for setting the node address. No special software or hardware is required.
