Bunting® Magnetics Company has a new addition to its' world-leading lineup of cylinders, The HoLo which is a magnetic embossing cylinder. This new product is specifically designed for use with holographic film shims or plates. For this revolutionary technology, Bunting® has a patent pending in the United States of America and Bunting® is pursuing international patents as well.

"Holographic printing is growing at a very healthy rate," Bob Van Horn, Bunting's Printing Products Group Leader stated. " We feel that this groundbreaking new product is perfectly suited to aid a growing industry."

The HoLo magnetic embossing cylinder is designed to magnetically hold holographic films or plates and perform at temperatures in excess of 400° degrees. It is particularly well suited for narrow and wide film applications from which a wide range of films are produced within the industry. During recent customer use, there was a 50% production increase with the HoLo and it allowed for quicker changes to take place.

"According to recent news reports, the worldwide surface relief hologram industry was valued at approximately $2 billion," stated Charles Whitt, Bunting's Director of Marketing.
