Soundamp E2 Asphalt based vibration damping sheets provide a clean flexible solution for vibration damping sheet metal panels. They effectively eliminate noise emanating from resonant structures and surfaces. Exceptional flexibility and ease of handling are characteristic of Soundamp E2, which has a specially formulated pressure sensitive adhesive to maximize the acoustical performance and provide bonding to the desired surface with a firm even pressure.

Soundamp E2 is formulated for maximum damping efficiency over a broad range of temperatures and frequencies.

Soundamp E2 is easy to handle and is easily molded and shaped using hand pressure and has a powerful acrylic adhesive for secure attachment to the product.

Soundamp E2 has good flammability resistance and meets the DOT MVSS 302 requirements.

Applications Typical application includes trucks, trains, busses, cars, appliances and construction equipment. Soundamp E2 is easily handled, fabricated or die-cut. It has a pressure sensitive adhesive for ease of application and is manufactured in a variety of thicknesses and sizes. Quilted Fiberglass sound absorption layers can be added for enhanced performance.
