The CrankPro® is a non-rotational, compact induction hardening & tempering system for crankshafts. This system utilizes advanced SHarP-C™ technology, which eliminates the need to rotate or move the inductor or the crankshaft during heating and quenching cycles. Inductoheat's engineers and scientists have designed a coil that is a single machined block of copper without brazing which makes the coil robust and reliable.

The stationary method of heating without crankshaft rotation provides several practical benefits such as; reduced floor space, simple operation, and less wasted heat. Other technological advantages include; short heat times < 3 seconds, production rates of up to 120 parts per hour, minimal growth, low part distortion, modular tooling, off-line part qualification and convenient changeover from V8 to V6 to I4 crankshafts.
