Vertical Splines

Vertical Splines

Vertical Splines

Verticle Splines are available in five different sizes(VS-40, VS-60, VS-80, VS-100, VS-150). This module offers 3 motion possibilities: 1. linear motion 2. rotation co-axial to the direction of the linear motion 3. rotation normal to the direction of the linear motion Vertical Splines are used to position various tools in 3D applications (e.g. grippers, nozzles, blow pipe nozzles, torches, laser cutting heads, etc....) A torsion proof ball bush guide allows the linear motion which is driven by a servo motor (with brake) over a planetary gear and a tooth belt. (Strokes are produced to the customer's requirements.) The co-axial rotation is conducted over a radial-axial bearing and driven by a servo motor and a tooth belt gear. (max. swing angle: 365°) The rotation normal to the linear motion is also conducted over a radial-axial bearing and is driven by a servo motor with a planetary gear (max. swing angle: 365°)
