Recently JKL was awarded large production contracts for domestic defense industry display backlighting, as well as international aerospace display backlighting contracts. To meet the new demand, JKL has increased capacity and reconfigured its production facilities for new tooling.

JKL's program for additional control technologies includes NVIS compatible green lamp phosphors, thermistors for temperature control, opto-sensors, wire-wrap heaters, as well as custom treatments for mounting and assembly for flat panels used in harsh environments.
