These laser achromats are design for use with visible lasers. These achromates incorporate crown and flint glass elements separated by a spacer. The air gap allows for a greater degree of correction than a cemented lens. The aberrations over a fairly wide range of wavelengths are balanced, ideal for broadband imaging applications. Not only are chromatic effects minimized but other paraxial aberrations can also be significantly reduced. Please contact your JML sales engineer for more information.
