Jergens, Inc. has announced four products to enhance locating of workholding fixtures.
Bullet Nose Dowels are used to align two fixture pieces. Pin and head are concentric within .0005 TIR, while the dowel's receiver bushing has ID and OD concentric within .003 TIR.
Jergens Pilot Locating Pins require no liner. Two styles of Bullet Nose Pins are available: round pin or relieved pin. Both are used for aligning two fixture pieces, and each is used in conjunction with a matching bushing. The flats on the relieved pin prevent binding, yet allow a high degree of accuracy to be maintained.
