A series of Heavy Duty "Push-Pull" (HDP Series) style clamps has been introduced by Jergens, Inc. The clamps feature massive cast steel construction. A number of styles are available, including long "L-handles", which produce forces high enough to perform light metal forming or assembly work such as swaging, riveting or press fitting components, as well as clamping.

L-handles can be inserted either in the front or rear of clamp. Additionally, the mechanism is designed inside the base which prevents stray objects and fingers from being caught.
