Cobalt Six-Flute
The additional flutes give the user the opportunity to remove more material per revolution in harder to machine components made from tougher steels. The CO substrate is the economic alternative to carbide for stainless steels and hi-temp alloys when strength and heat resistance is needed but rigidity in set up is not available. Add TiN coating to the tools for added lubricity and you can tackle hard to machine materials even in hand-held applications.
