KNF's newest line of air and gas diaphragm sampling pumps feature 400°F heated heads and heat-resistant models. Several methods of temperature control are available, including a mechanical, head-mounted thermostat, an electronic temperature control, and a new, programmable electronic control that can be programmed, controlled and the head temperature recorded by a remote PC's RS-232 interface. Featuring flowrates from 6 to 68 LPM, they are available in either aluminum or 316 stainless steel heads and PTFE diaphragms and a variety of surface finishes and AC motor options.

These pumps are ideal for the transport of hot gas samples in environmental and analytical instruments and handle temperatures to 460°F (240°C). Special construction isolates the motor and bearings from heat for long service life. Heating heads prevents liquid condensate from forming within the head to reduce pump corrosion and improve sampling accuracy by eliminating sample component dropout from the gas stream. The pumps are oil-free, contamination-free and low maintenance.
Applications include:

  • chemical processing
  • environmental sampling
