A stepper motor imparts very little pulsation in the liquid. The exhaust stroke takes place slowly and evenly while the intake stroke is carried out at maximum speed. This principle ensures that damage to the liquid is kept to a minimum. Other advantages are that the pump is self priming, needs little maintenance, handles liquids to 80 deg. C, and can be run while dry. A practical feature of the pump lets the volume to be programmed in different units (e.g. %, mg, US Gallon, LPM etc.). The STEPDOS 03 covers the flow rate range from 0.03ml/min. to 30 ml/min.. It can run against a maximum system pressure of 90 psig and is automatically protected against pressures exceeding this limit. An accuracy of +/-2% is achieved which is exceptional for this type of pump. It is easy to operate and can be controlled directly on the keypad or via an external PC using the supplied Windows® software. The FEM08 offers 80µLit/m to 80 mLit/m flow range and a max pressure head of 60 psig.
