KROHNE, Inc. introduces the OPTIMASS 2000, a large diameter Coriolis mass flowmeter for accurate and repeatable bulk measurement in the oil and gas industry. Available sizes are 4, 6 and 10 inch, made of NACE compliant duplex stainless steel (ANSI 31803) wetted parts. Flange ratings to 1500 lbs, and flange sizes from 4 to 12 inch are available. The OPTIMASS 2000 is CRN approved and can handle process pressures to 2200 PSIG with a SS outer cylinder that can handle burst pressures of 1500 PSI. The twin straight tube design in the OPTIMASS 2000 provides accurate and repeatable measurement of fluid flow rates ranging from 250 lb/min to 4400 lb/min with a measuring accuracy of 0.1%rate feature that prevents the build-up of static in hydrocarbons without affecting measurement accuracy. The low flow rate capability is also a benefit for custody transfer applications. The OPTIMASS 2000 features the MFC300 converter and is available in compact or remote versions. All signal processing is carried out by the MFC300 with available MODBUS RTU output. The "split architecture" of the MFC300 secures all calibration data in redundant memory.
