Life Line - Continuous Hi-flex Cables

Life Line - Continuous Hi-flex Cables

Specifically developed and manufactured for application in dynamic cable and hose carrier systems, these premium LIFE LINE cables from KabelSchlepp set a new standard in material quality, flexibility and longevity.

With the innovative construction and high quality materials used, these cables are capable of enduring the arduous operation and duty cycle requirements typically expected in today's dynamic cable carrying systems (cable tracks), gantry robots, automation, and any other continuous flexing applications.

The possibilities are endless, since the two cable and hose versions (400 Series with our PVC jacket and 700/800/900 Series with our PUR jacket) cover a wide range of applications. What does this mean to our customers? A manageable variety of cables, reduce procurement needs and related costs. All this can only be made possible through our revolutionary new core insulation material, the KS-TPM compound.

Now be able to achieve an insulation resistance of greater than 30 Mega ohms x km, the KS-TPM compound heralds a new era of core insulation technology ideal for dynamic cable carrying systems. With reduced stretching characteristic and extremely low draw force when stripping cores, these cables are best described by a new rating "easily strippable".

The "self-guiding" ability of the KS-TPM compound dramatically reduces the possibility of shifting cores within the cross-section of these cables that again forms the basis for another new rating "flexible bending". This means that that a highly flexible design alone is often simply not enough, instead a continuous flexible bending must be the ultimate goal – which LIFELINE cables achieve! All LIFELINE cables are rating to 7.5x O.D. minimum continuous flexible bend radii and all are UL, CSA and approved.

Overview of Available Cable Types:

  • control cables
  • power cables
  • single-core cables
  • data cables
  • bus cables
  • coaxial cables
  • fiber optic cables
  • system cables according to SIEMENS specifications
