High Energy Density Capacitors for Memory Backup Power and Wireless Data Transmission Pulses

Maxcap^® Double Layer Capacitors (commonly known as supercapacitors or ultracapacitors) can be used instead of a battery for memory backup power or to provide wireless data transmission pulses for remote interrogation.

Will support CMOS RAMS and Real Time Clock chips for weeks. Microprocessors, small motors and activators having current requirements from several hundred milliamps, can be supported from several seconds to minutes.

Capacitors can be combined in series/parallel arrays for higher power/energy requirements.
