Kavlico, a global business unit of Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST), is pleased to announce the PT250 family of sealed industrial pressure transmitters. These devices are perfectly suited for a variety of industrial applications including refrigeration systems, compressors, pumps, process control, autoclaves, hydraulics, and power generation.

The flexible family of transmitters is powered by a 9-32 Vdc supply and provides a 4-20mA output proportional to applied pressure. The compact units feature stainless steel housings and isolation diaphragms. Their welded construction makes them compatible for use with a wide variety of liquid and gaseous media, including all popular refrigerants. These rugged devices can withstand high over-pressure spikes and are available in absolute and sealed gage pressure ranges from 0-4 bar to 0-400 bar.

The transmitters are temperature compensated, have excellent EMI/RFI and ESD protection as well as superior output signal stability. Accuracy (linearity, repeatability and hysterisis) is specified at 0.5% at 25°C and total error band over temperature is ±2%. Common metric and US pressure ports are available including a ¼ SAE female pressure fitting with a Schrader Deflator. Supported electrical interface standards include Packard Metri-Pack, Deutsch, M12, and 9.4 and 18mm DIN EN 175301-803 standards. All designs are compliant with European RoHS directives.
