The Model KPCI-488LP is a 3.3V and 5V PCI-bus compatible GPIB interface plug-in board. For customer convenience, with the Model KPCI-488LP, Keithley includes both a full height and a half-height bracket for use with newer low-profile PCs.
The Model KPCI-488LP provides complete software support for Windows XP and 2000. Support will be provided for the new Microsoft Windows VISTA operating system upon its release. The Model KPCI-488LP also supports industry-standard VISA (Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) libraries to ensure compatibility with applications utilizing VISA. The Model KPCI-488LP can be used in programming languages such as Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, Borland C Builder, LabVIEWTM, and LabWindows/CVITM.
