Kent, OH...Kent Elastomer Products, Inc., a division of Meridian Industries Inc., and a leader in the manufacture of tubing products, introduces K-9001 Thermoplastic Rubber Tubing.

K-9001 is recommended for use in peristaltic pumps where abrasion-resistance is required. The K-9001 features easy sterilization, good chemical resistance, and is weather-resistant. This thermoplastic rubber tubing has a durometer range of 65 ± 5 and is autoclavable to 135º C.

The product meets the requirements of the FDA's Title 21 Section 177.1810 for food grade use and has passed testing for Class VI, cytotoxicity, and is non-hemolytic.

Additional characteristics include:

• Cleaner and more eco-conscious
• Animal derivative-free
• Sealable and bondable
• Provides resistance to creeping at temperatures up to 275º F (135º C)
