Our DynaLift hoisting synchronization system is an optimal solution for applications where long loads and loads with uneven weight distribution are handled with multiple hoists on a single bridge. The synchronization system is available through Konecranes variable frequency drives. The inverter controls enable accurate positioning of the hooks when multiple hoists are used to perform the lifting.
The benefits of using the hoisting synchronization include more efficient and safer handling of the load, which provides savings in time, which in turn results in better productivity. There is no need to manually adjust the hooks after they have been latched onto the load and the synchronization system has been turned on. The inverter drives take care of the hoisting speed synchronization and the hooks stay at their desired positions.
This system is available as an option on new cranes or it can be retrofitted onto existing cranes.
Applications benefiting from this feature include cranes handling long loads, cranes handling loads with uneven weight distribution, paper mill or steel warehouse cranes utilizing multiple hoists using the same below the hook device, cranes with two or more hoists lifting the same product, such as concrete slabs, steel bars, plates, or rails.
