The wXN has been designed to work efficiently within the confined construction of the wind turbine nacelle. The load capacity range is 1/8 to 1 ton as standard. Other capacities are available per special request. The lifting speeds vary based on the hoist model:

• 1/8 ton, 96/24 feet per minute hoisting speed as standard
• 1/4 to 1 ton, 64/16 feet per minute hoisting speed as standard

The wXN comes with many standard features. It is light weight and easy to use and cuts down the time to transfer service parts to and from the turbine nacelle hub when compared to using the top hatch. Using the wXN hoist also provides a safe access to the turbine when service work is needed.The hoist is easily maintained due to its compact design and it is quiet in operation. The friction torque overload limiter provides protection against misapplication of the hoist and overloading.
