Glenview IL – May 4, 2009 - Chicago Public Schools announced on May 1^st New policies for sick students that utilize a forehead thermometer

"Under the new policies, students with symptoms of both a fever and a cough will be tested with a disposable forehead thermometer. If a student's temperature is under 100 degrees, the school will determine whether the student can stay at school or be sent home.
