Chicago Public Schools announced on May 1st "New policies for sick students that utilize a forehead thermometer"
"Under the new policies, students with symptoms of both a fever and a cough will be tested with a disposable forehead thermometer. If a student's temperature is under 100 degrees, the school will determine whether the student can stay at school or be sent home. If the temperature is over 100, the student must be sent home, and will be kept out of the classroom until a parent or guardian picks him or her up." Cbs2chicago.com May 1st 2009
