Depending on attributes and quantity, our manufacturing engineers will determine whether to use a conventional, CNC or hybrid method to make the lenses. Currently we work with all optical glasses and glass-like materials including filter glass, fused silica, Zerodur and Pyrex. We can produce up to 1/20th wave surface accuracy and control wedge to seconds. High-precision CNC edging machines make it possible to enhance the lens with complex truncations, steps and even free-form shaping. Tolerances are matched to the customer's specifications.
