Extend Life of Submersible and Turbine Pumps

Sand in water wells will pit and damage pump impellers and bearings. The pump's efficiency will gradually decrease until it eventually must be replaced. LAKOS Separators prevent sand from entering the pump and thereby extend its life and enable it to run at maximum efficiency. With no moving parts to wear out or replace, you simply install it and forget about it. LAKOS Separators can help large farms and water works extend the life of their turbine pumps and maintain optimum flow. The SUB-K Separator is used for all submersible pumps with flow under 100 gpm. For larger submersibles and for all turbine pumps, the PPS Separator is recommended.

In special industrial applications, or in the oil/gas exploration, other LAKOS models are typically recommended.
