Larox has recently introduced its completely redesigned range of Hoesch Chamber and Membrane Filter Presses that have been expanded in terms of size range and operating pressure range and fully conform to the newest regulatory requirements in the EU. This new range of Hoesch filter presses is offered in both side bar and overhead beam configurations.

• Sizes for Side Bar filters include 800 x 800 and 1200 x 1200 mm plates with operating pressures of either 10 or 16 Bar and 1500 x 1500 and 2000 x 2000 mm plates with operating pressures of 10, 16 and 30 Bar.
• Overhead Beam units are available with 1200 x 1200, 1500 x 1500 and 2000 x 2000 mm plates in either 10 or 16 Bar operating pressure configurations.

The Hoesch membrane filter press was the first functional membrane press delivered to the marketplace almost 50 years ago. The new designs continue the long Hoesch tradition of being at the forefront of technical innovation with regard to membrane technology.

• The 1200 x 1200 Hoesch filter presses are available with plate packs up to 12000 mm long providing filtration areas ranging from 41 – 374 m2.
• For the 1500 x 1500 filter presses the plate pack are up to 14000 mm long with filtration areas ranging from 122 – 659 m2.
• Finally for the 2000 x 2000 presses, the plate packs are up to Plates are 16000 mm long with filtration areas up to 1300 m2.
• All sizes and configurations are available with 25, 30 and 40 mm chanbers, while 50 and 60 mm chamber depths are also availble with the 1200 and 1500 mm plate sizes.

The new designs can be used with any commercially avialable DIN standard plate pack or the well proven Hoesch plate design which is the leader in the market. The Hoesch plate features include center feed ports with distribution ring for even chamber filling and cake distribution and the use of replaceable rubber membranes, which are safer than welded membranes and more reliable.
