The ball screw assembly cleaned, straightened, and evaluated. Visual and physical inspections of the unit are performed to determine if unit is re-loadable. The unit is reloaded with new balls, tested, and inspected. The ball screw is refurbished to minimize backlash and dead-band, but "like-new" characteristics cannot be entirely achieved. This is a temporary repair to keep machine running until a new ball screw can be manufactured.

There is no warranty on this type of repair.
