High Pressure Safety Screens

The Lee Company's Hi-Bar^® Safety Screens protect critical hydraulic and fuel system components from contamination-induced failure up to 7,500 psid, without burst or collapse. These unique, one-piece screens are machined directly from stainless steel bar stock, and easily withstand severe pressure transients, even when fully clogged.

Lee Hi-Bar Safety Screens feature bi-directional flow capability and are available in a variety of standard and special configurations (as shown in photo). Some of the standard configurations include: threaded installations, line mounted screens, and flange mounted screens, all of which are available in a wide range of sizes, open areas, and micron ratings (75 to 380 microns nom.). Special screens (designed for customer specific requirements) have extended this range to less than 50 microns.

This capability can also be offered in a number of materials, which will yield enhanced corrosion resistance beyond that normally associated with stainless steel.
