ROSS® Introduces New 1½ and 2" Port Size L-O-X® Valves
Following the launch of the new ¼ and 3/8 inch port size L-O-X valves, ROSS is proud to announce the addition of the 1½ and 2 inch port size L-O-X valves to its lock-out and exhaust valve family. An industry leader since 1962, the L-O-X valve family is now even more extensive with the addition of these new sizes of valves.
The 1½ and 2 inch models are easily identified by their unique shape, red handle and yellow cast body; a benefit in to plant maintenance and equipment repair personnel when searching for energy isolation devices following lock-out/tagout practices. Their positive action (two positions) and simple push/pull design provides direct manual operation. They are lockable only in the off position to prevent the handle from accidentally being pulled to the open position during maintenance and repair.
The 1½ and 2 inch models have a large 2 inch exhaust port design which provides the benefit of rapid and full pressure release. Utilizing ROSS' self-cleaning and dirt-tolerant poppet design, L-O-X valves also provide a long service life. And, because lock-out valves may not be used frequently but are very important when they are, ROSS provides TEFLON® seals to allow for ease-of-shifting. For additional visual measures, there is also a pressure sensing port that allows for the installation of a pop-up indicator or a pressure switch to verify that downstream pressure to the next obstruction is fully released.
