Inverted microscopes have many different applications. Live cell applications that require access to the specimen for patch clamps or manipulators, micro incubators and perfusion chambers demand an open top for the stage. The new BioPrecision2 flat top stage from Ludl Electronic Products Ltd. offers unobstructed specimen access with high precision and performance.
To further facilitate the flat top concept, the BioPrecision2 flat top stage features a mini-insert breadboard area with eight M6 tapped holes. This can be used to easily mount almost any kind of fixturing device for patch clamps or manipulators.
The flat top stage from LEP features a precision recirculating ball, zero backlash leadscrew drive. Encoded versions include either high resolution rotary or linear encoders.
The all new BioPrecision2 stage construction features fewer rotating parts, a lower profile and an improved motor assembly. The combination of these features produce a stage that has better dynamic agility, higher precision and more accuracy. Additionally the linear bearings are equipped with a patented anti-migration device that ensures the stage alignment will stay perfect with extended use.
The BioPrecision2 stages standard features include adjustable end-limits, full MAC 5000 compatibility and embedded digital ID. In addition BioPrecision2 flat top stages accept all standard inverted stage specimen holders from LEP.
