MAMCO / LEFOO LF40-01 is a compact electro-mechanical pressure switch with a momentary or alternate action capable of switching high current capacities. Used in pumps (pools/spas), food disposals, outdoor machines and medical equipment.

The MAMCO / LEFOO LF40-01 is provided with a snap action switch for higher current capacity, SPDT contact form and switch dead bands (also referred to as mechanical differential or hysteresis).

The MAMCO / LEFOO LF40-01 can be used together with an air button (also called as Actuator) for remote control purposes. It is widely used in food waste disposals, pumps for swimming pools and spas, hot tubs, sanitary equipment, outdoor machines, medical equipment etc. As a remote control switch, it is small enough to fit in the control box of the motor. Used as a remote control, the air switch has two actions:

1) Momentary action: when the air button is pushed, the air switch is actuated. When air button is released, the air switch will also be released. This is the way traditional pressure switches work.

2) Alternate action: the first push of the air button actuates the switch, and the switch remains actuated when the air button is released. A second push on the air button will release the switch.
