Design comes to life using our state-of-the-art software and hardware. We take full advantage of AutoCAD Mechanical software running on top-of-the-line, DSL connected workstations to fully design, document, and communicate with our customers for each and every need. Each 2-D or 3-D design is fully detailed and supplied to our customers in a universal hard copy and/or electronic format.

MCTD was founded in 1983 as Michigan City Tool & Die Inc. Over the years, many changes have taken place in the diversity of projects undertaken. To reflect the company's growth into a full service machine builder, the company's name was changed from Michigan City Tool & Die Inc. to MCTD, Inc. in the year 2000. MCTD now stands for Machines, Controls, Tooling, and Design.
MCTD, Inc. has evolved into one of the premier special machine builders in Northern Indiana. Our mechanical and electronic controls design staff works directly with our customers to deliver the exact product required, in the most efficient manner possible. Our 10,600 square foot facility houses a fully equipped machine shop and offices, staffed by seasoned veterans of the machine-building trade. By staffing our own designers, engineers, draftsmen, and machinists, MCTD, Inc. has the unique ability to offer complete "in-house" project management. It is this complete "in-house" feature that greatly sets us apart from our competition. Our design team, with a combined knowledge over 60 years of experience in machining and manufacturing processes, delivers instant responses to the frequent questions and revisions associated with special machine projects.
