Machine Controls Address A Myriad of Applications.-Image

Machine Controls Development

Whether we design and build machine controls for use in one of our custom machines, or directly for customer use, we approach each system with the same quality workmanship.

Our machine controls have addressed a myriad of applications including motion control, assembly line automation, pick-and-place, material handling and conveying, programmable logic control (PLC) based systems, PC control and data acquisition test systems, human machine interface (HMI), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and good old fashioned discrete switch and pushbutton controlled systems.

We design, build, document, and install control panels, custom circuit boards, and power distribution panels - or all of the above. All controls adhere to NFPA and OSHA guidelines, as well as customer-specific construction guidelines. We utilize only applicable industry standard, UL certified, and/or CE certified components. All documentation is generated in universal CAD format. Schematic generation is generated using AutoCAD Electrical 2004 software. Ladder logic documentation is PLC dependant.

As with all our machines, our attention to detail and the fit and finish of each controls package we build, guarantees you a quality product for years of reliable service. For additional information on MCTD controls development, click here to contact us today.

Custom Tooling

"Tooling" speaks to a vast array of machines and machining methods. Our tooling emphasis is in the design and fabrication of a wide variety, and sometimes exotic, fixturing, jigs, and/or metal forming.

Through the years, we have been party to the conceptualization, design, and fabrication of many quite impressive pieces of tooling. Production and assembly jigs, part fixtures, component nests, and metal forming progressive dies are just a few such examples.

Relying on our extensive machine compliment of conventional mills, lathes, grinders, and drilling equipment, as well as our CNC mills and lathes, there is little our shop is not equipped to handle. Our wire EDM machine and diligent machine improvement plan top off our ability to fabricate in-house the majority of projects awarded us.

In addition, our staff of seasoned tool and die machinists gives us the edge to tackle that close-tolerance or rush job. Adding to the list of services offered is our complete die repair facility and staff.

Confidence in our design engineers and our talented machinists guarantee your special tooling needs will be met. To find out how MCTD custom tooling can benefit your specific needs, please contact us today.

In-House Design & Engineering

We have invested considerable time and money to perfect our in-house design and engineering capabilities. We have done this to be able to offer our customers a single source for complete machine design, prototype design, conceptualization, proof-of-principle, and tooling requirements.

Our in-house design team is dedicated to each of our customers' specific product lines or services. We enjoy the ability to anticipate our customer's needs and product application. Customer collaboration and cooperative conceptualization is key to proven design successes.

Design comes to life using our state-of-the-art software and hardware. We take full advantage of AutoCAD Mechanical software running on top-of-the-line, DSL connected workstations to fully design, document, and communicate with our customers for each and every need. Each 2-D or 3-D design is fully detailed and supplied to our customers in a universal hard copy and/or electronic format.
